Passenger numbers on route number 98 are currently low. Moreover, merging the line with that of the number 75 bus in order to provide a number of new direct connections between Anderlecht and Uccle would represent a genuine opportunity.

New route

The number 98 bus service will no longer operate and will henceforth be replaced by the number 75. The number 75 service will essentially follow the current 98 bus route. It will, however, no longer go via Boulevard de l’Humanité, this area will now be served by the new number 68 bus and several of the De Lijn network services.

  • A more frequent service will now operate on this route (with the number 75 operating a more frequent service);
  • New direct connection between the centre of Uccle and Anderlecht;
  • New direct connections from the Westland Shopping centre and Drogenbos Shopping centre to several districts (Parc Astrid, Place Bizet, La Roue, Rue de Stalle).
