VIADUC E40 - BOITSFORT GARE

Following the extension of the number 94 tram route to Roodebeek, the number 42 bus route now needs to be reorganised. There are genuine advantages to improving services to the Val d’Or and Bemel districts in Woluwé-Saint-Pierre, the Coccinelles district in Watermael-Boitsfort and the Vieux Tilleul district in Ixelles.

New route

The new number 42 route will take a new circular route from Roodebeek to Woluwe-Saint-Pierre, Ixelles and Watermael-Boitsfort.

  • A new inter-district service with new connections serving Woluwe-Saint-Pierre centre, as well as the areas of Saint-Julien church, Delta, Vieux Tilleul and Avenue des Coccinelles;
  • Improved access to key destinations such as the UCL campus, Cliniques Universitaires Saint-Luc, the Woluwe Shopping Center, Delta (CHIREC hospital site), the ULB and VUB, Ixelles Cemetery and Boitsfort station.
