De bediening van de Transvaalwijk en het centrum van Oudergem moet verbeterd worden.

De nieuwe lijn

Lijn 17 zal worden verlengd vanaf Beaulieu richten de wijken Transvaal en Tenreuken, via het metrostation Delta, de Invalidenlaan en Hermann-Debroux.

  • Directe verbinding tussen de  Transvaalwijk  en rechtstreekse verbinding met de wijk van de Waversesteenweg (Sint-Juliuswijk);
  • Nieuwe bediening van de  Van Horenbeeckwijk en Tenreuken (vastgoedprojecten, scholen);
  • Betere frequenties op de Invalidenlaan.
