In anticipation of the planned number 9 tram route, it will be necessary to optimise the interchanges and complementarity of the number 14 service with this new tram service. Moreover, the cessation of route number 14 in favour of route 15 after 8pm makes for a poor strategy.

New route

The new number 14 route will be extended to Heysel, as per the current route 84 schedule. A new route is also planned to run between the Belgica and UZ Brussel [University Hospital Brussels] stops.

  • Swift connection between UZ Brussel [University Hospital Brussels] and Jette station;
  • Direct connections to key areas such as the Gare du Nord, UZ Brussels [University Hospital Brussels] and Heysel;
  • New service between the Firmin Lecharlier area and Jette;
  • An evening service also operates on this route.
